Burnley FC Women will compete against Chorley FC Women in the Lancashire FA Women’s Challenge Cup Semi-Final this Sunday.

The Challenge Cup is a competition Burnley have firmly in their sights. The cup was established in 1994/95 and Blackburn Rovers LFC are historically the most successful team in the competition, having lifted the cup for the 13th time in the 2019-20 season. The cup is competed for by women’s teams across Lancashire.

One league separates Burnley and Chorley FC Women with both teams looking to secure a spot in the final to be played at the County Ground in Leyland. The winning team will face either Sir Tom Finney FC 1st Women or Bolton Wanderers Ladies in the final.

Kick-off is 2pm on Sunday 19th January and the game will take place at Padiham FC’s Ruby Civil Arena, 16 Well Street, Padiham, Burnley, BB12 8LE. Entrance is £3 for adults and £1 for under 16s.
