Burnley FC Women Team Overview
The Burnley FC Women first team have shown fantastic development over the last two seasons.
Achieving promotion into the National League as well as having a superb and history making FA Cup run. A clear philosophy and playing style has now been implemented into the side with all players and staff demonstrating the Burnley FC Women DNA at training and games.
Tactical content is delivered at every session to ensure that the team continue to be prepared in detail for every game across the course of the season. The team are ambitious and are looking to continue their progression over the coming season.
Burnley FC Women First Team will be playing their 2018/19 home fixtures at Padiham FC’s Arbories Memorial Sports Ground. To watch the team will cost adult supporters £2 and it will be free of charge for children aged 16 and under. All proceeds raised from fixtures will be split between Burnley FC Women and Padiham FC.

It has been the most successful ever season for the first team as they topped the table and were promoted into the FA Women’s National League Northern Division 1.
The team faced tough opposition from the beginning, however they worked tirelessly throughout the season to ultimately reign victorious.
Alongside the league title, the squad made history by reaching the third-round of the Women’s FA Cup, the furthest stage of the competition the side has ever reached.
This rounds off quite the season for the Clarets, with exciting times ahead!
