Burnley FC Women will take on Bolton Wanderers Ladies in a midweek fixture this Wednesday 13th February.

The Clarets Women are on a fantastic run of late, with a recent 1-0 win over league rival Leeds United Ladies seeing the side go twelve league games unbeaten.

Currently sitting top of the FA Women’s National League Division 1 North on 37 points, the newly promoted Burnley FC Women face tough competition from established sides in the league also vying for the top spot.

Burnley FC Women First Team Manager, Matt Bee said: “The team have shown great character in what have been tough fixtures since Christmas and the discipline and structure has allowed us to get on the right side of results.”

“We continue to take it one game at a time. No game is more or less important at this level and if you drop your standards even a fraction you can get punished.”

“We have a belief in how we operate, and we need to show our quality again on Wednesday night.”

Kick-off is 7:45pm on Wednesday and the game will take place at Padiham FC’s Ruby Civil Arena, 16 Well Street, Padiham, Burnley, BB12 8LE. Entrance is £2 for adults, free for children.
