After last weekend’s Lancashire FA Women’s County Cup Semi Final, Burnley FC Women are back in league action this Sunday as the side take on Liverpool Feds at the Ruby Civil Arena, Padiham FC.

Currently eight points clear at the top of the FA Women’s National League Division One North, it’s an opportunity for the Claret Women to increase their lead and maintain their solid defensive form, as they have not conceded a goal in the previous seven league games.

Burnley FC Women First Team Manager, Matt Bee said: “We will be facing a strong Liverpool Feds side who have had a good run of results over recent months and we know it will be a tough test. There is still a lot of work to do this season and all of the players know that we have to keep working hard every week in order to keep achieving positive results.”

Kick-off is 2pm at the Ruby Civil Arena at Padiham FC. Entrance is £2 for adults and free for children. The clubhouse bar and kitchen facilities will be open on the day.

A special thanks to match sponsor, The Clarets Trust.
